as a family of four living in a 2 bedroom condo we were struggling with only one bathroom. we were hesitant to add a second because of such negative experiences with contractors. after months of discussion a neighbor recommended interior bliss design for the job.

we were so lucky to have found interior bliss design. after some truly terrible experiences with several other contractors – impersonal, shoddy, expensive, and soul-depleting – we can say that by comparison (or stand alone), kimberlee and darren redefine what it means to bring someone into your home to help design and to do the construction.

we love our bathroom! it's absolutely beautiful, and the craftsmanship is meticulous. we would hire ibd again in a heartbeat. we've had a lot of work done on our home, and this is by far the best we've ever had both in terms of the experience and the final result. during the project, they were completely non-intrusive. they practically made themselves invisible, to the point that we didn't even know they were here. on top of everything, they even offered to walk our dogs!

I first met Spencer an Kimberlee at the Williamsburg, Brooklyn flea in the Summer of 2011. They were very kind and sold me some really cool side tables.

I made a habit of dropping by their area at the flea every Sunday and checking out what they had to offer. They mentioned they also built custom furniture and did interior designing. I had just moved into a large apartment with no furniture in it and had them build me a coffee table... then a entertainment stand... then a bar... then a bookcase. Pretty soon they had constructed a substantial amount of furniture in my house.

Spencer is a great carpenter and a very attentive designer. His quality, speed and price were each impressive.He worked very well with the inspiration pieces and made them better than I could have imagined. He was very professional and always kept me in the loop on what was going on.

I can't recommend them highly enough to anyone who asks who made my awesome furniture.
